In Memory of Mary Carolyn Walker
October 27, 1951 - June 26, 2012

A resident of Baker, she passed away at 8:31pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at her home. She was 60 and a native of McComb, Mississippi. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5-9pm, and on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 9am, conducted by Rev. Ronald DeWitt. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by two brothers, Norman Walker of Baker, and Lucius “Luke” E. Walker, Jr. of Madrid, New Mexico; three nephews, Landon S. Walker and wife Anne J. Walker, Sherman Walker, and Ross D. Walker; two great-nieces, Anita M. Walker and Krista A. Walker; three great nephews, Louis J. Walker, William J. Walker, and Hayden J. Walker; and special cousin, Katherine Pasqua. Preceded in death by her parents, Lela B. and Lucius E. Walker, Sr.; and a nephew, Gene L. Walker. Pallbearers are Landon Walker, Sherman Walker, Casey Pasqua, Earl Brown, Ray Brown, and Sammy Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Robert and David Smith. Mary worked for the Dept. of Natural Resources for 30 years until retirement in January 2005. She enjoyed photography, collecting stamps, and traveling. She was a member of Liberty Deaf Assembly of God Church, and served the Lord by teaching Bible studies.
